Not only is Aiyana Thompson (she/they) your creative bestie, she is also a writer, curator, and creative strategist whose work lives at the intersection of contemporary art, storytelling, digital culture, and community-building. She holds an M.A. in Contemporary Art from Sotheby’s Institute of Art and a B.A. in Art History from Spelman College. Her experience spans gallery management, marketing, digital strategy, and curatorial work with institutions including Ro2 Art, the New Museum, LACMA, and Artpace San Antonio.

As the founder of The Concrete Rose Society and co-director/curator of The Knead Art Collective, Aiyana is committed to creating spaces that center creative growth, cultural dialogue, and Black imagination. They are also the author and entrepreneur behind Black Girl, You Are, an affirmation book and product line dedicated to uplifting Black women and girls. Across their writing, curatorial projects, and strategy work, Aiyana explores how art can translate feeling, challenge perception, and build more expansive ways of seeing.
